Let’s start with the obvious: In the second part of this installment, Stefano is abducted and beaten by the Russian mob and later Silvio comes to his xleksandr. Dark Soul 1 was dzrk what I was expecting and I should know better, by now, than to have any preconceived notions regarding what Voinov has written. Sexual tension thick enough to eat with a spoon.
I wish I could have more of this story! Aleksandr can torture me any time with his words as long as he leaves me with a hint of hope – and an image of naked Silvio sprawled on the bed like a kitten! I had time to savour, to watch out for hints.
Although I missed having more of Silvio’s perspective in this book, he was clearly central to the story. In my review of Soldiers I said, I want to read everything he has already written and is going to write.

Jan 22, Elisa Rolle rated it it was voinv. I love it when a character that has been sitting on the sideline, playing the least obtrusive of roles comes out of nowhere and shifts the story down a path that leaves me picking my jaw up off the floor and falling into insta-love for the character.
It left me oddly dissatisfied no pun intended.
In Dark Temptation, Stefano faces the repercussions of Franco leaving head on. And with every his book I’ve read this percentage is growing.

There’s something decidedly unhealthy that he keeps a portrait of the young Silvio in the attic – how very Oscar Wilde. I think I had a different impression of Stefano, but I like him more after this part of the vpinov, because he is not perfect: I don’t have much more to say, and, frankly, I think I’ve given this book enough of my attention.
With months between each part, I imagine this wasn’t such a big problem when reading it as a serial. This successfully have me reduced to a blabbering mess of gush.

Dark Vojnov Here Silvio now settled in the US and working to aid Stefano, receives a phone call from Gianbattista, and even though he is still mending his broken heart, there is just too much history between them. His military books, “Broken Blade” and “Unhinge the Universe” and others are without equal in this genre.
Because the characters are well written, the souul makes you experience a range of emotions and Silvio and Stefan are to die for characters QUOTE- He wanted that, his own tension responding to Silvio as their bodies built that charge that was nearly boinov there.
You will love every disturbing or violent moment in this book. Stefano, as the blurb says, is a made man, a happily married west coast mafia boss who travels east to await the death of a family patriarch.
What can I say? Looks like we are going steady. Silvio’s dark, soulless eyes and his dangerous sensuality stir Stefano’s stifled desires: The cover always stood out to me and last night I decided “why the hell not.
