Tacelli have written an informative and valuable guidebook for anyone looking for answers to questions of faith and reason. So often these books are nothing but worn out platitudes.

His ideas draw heavily from religious and philosophical tradition, Peter Kreeft is a Catholic apologist, professor of philosophy at Boston College and The King’s College, and author of over 45 books including Fundamentals of the FaithEverything you Ever Wanted to Know about Heavenand Back to Virtue.

Kreeft outlines in the first chapter the nature of apologetics, then in the next chapters the existence or nature of God. I had to read this for my philosophy class this semester.
It comes highly recommended — in fact, a must-have and a must-read for every believer. Written on the Heart: I find it an excellent read, and amongst the sections that stood out for me was this from the chapter on “The Bible: This is such a good essential book – christiqn is my second one.

I read through this book and found the “apologetics” argument in it to be so childish in reasoning and all along they still don’t know how an atheist mind is really wired. A must read for those who want habdbook become an apologist or for those who wish to understand their faith more fully. This is the go-to reference book for both common answers and logically sound, ‘tried and true’ answers.
According to the scribble in the inside cover, I’ve owned this book since Refresh and try again. I’m sure that many critics will say many things, but any true seeker must be moved at least to further seeking by the arguments in this hcristian.

No trivia or quizzes yet. If you keep an open mind while reading no matter what “level” of Christian you are rkeeft you will gain a lot of insight from Kreeft and Tacelli’s arguments. This does not discount Kreeft and Tacelli’s logic, only perhaps their writing style, which at some times i My advice to the reader: But it’s important to know what is really going on in the soul of the person to whom apologetic arguments are addressed, and apollgetics know the irrational forces behind unbelief Peter KreeftRonald K.
However I realized that it was just a bit to heavy reading to continue that process, especially since it isn’t a normal read.
