This is really proving problematic. Please bear in mind that I have been tinkering with the code for several days and have tried many variations.
I’m now back to the first code but with a small adjustment. Could a tiny bit of ringing on the line upset the device? Sometimes a conversation with someone knowledgeable just frees up the brain a bit! I have made some progress. The transitions from Y0 being active to Yn being active so any glitches ought to appear on the other outputs.
By coincidence, I am transitioning with one bit change only. Also, I see in one app note schematic, a 1K resistor in each digital line. It’s bound to be some devilish little detail datsaheet me. Changing the address pins with the enables strapped active is likely to cause glitches. The waveforms are perfect. Thanks again for your help!
