As part of his very personal musical vocabulary, Iannis Xenakis has taken a special interest in exploring the various possibilities of the glissando.
This composition is his last composition for a solo instrument and orchestra. Xenakis declined the kerwn and Lindberg went back home. The composition starts with a tritone played by the winds.
